QiShe Fanmo Seaview-Hotel

QiShe Fanmo Seaview-Hotel is on Gongyuan Road in Jimei district, a three-minute walk from Jimei Jiageng Park, close to Shigu Street and Jimei University Town.

Rooms have sea views with a real ocean breeze, and the owners are known for personal attention — one couple even had disinfectant and plasters brought to their room in the middle of the night after an injury. There's covered parking, which is rare for a property this size, and pets are welcome.

Who it suits: travellers with pets and families visiting Jimei University Town and Jiageng Park, who value personal attention from the owners over scale of amenities.

Worth knowing: the actual condition of the hotel varies noticeably between reviews — the rooftop pool is sometimes under repair or simply dirty, and the gym, according to one review, is a small room with a single machine. Several complaints note that some booking-site photos don't match the real state of the rooms — it's worth checking recent reviews and not expecting a full spa experience.
