This Hilton is definitely a great one: good soundproofing, excellent service and a convenient location. If you order a taxi for morning tours, our hotel is usually picked up last, which means you get to sleep in a bit longer. Breakfast is very generous, and reasonably priced too.

This is the worst hotel of all, no exceptions. The advertised charging stations were fake; the ones actually installed were broken. The charging stations in the hotel car park didn't work, and none of the five or six front desk staff knew anything about it. When I checked out, I was told my car's plate number was registered, but even after I went back from the car park, they still claimed I hadn't paid for hourly parking. I had to go back to reception again to register the plate. It was appalling that five or six front desk staff couldn't even register a licence plate properly.

I'd originally booked a room, but on arrival reception told me it was a walk-in rate room, supposedly as listed on the booking platform. I felt I had to call them to sort out getting an upgraded room. A support agent offered an upgrade for 160 yuan, but I have no idea how that figure was worked out — on Ctrip the two room types differ by only about 30 yuan. Later a manager offered a free upgrade instead. Another issue was the convoluted licence plate registration process, which involved adding various WeChat accounts — pretty odd. Doesn't a hotel chain this size have a system that can handle plate registration properly? The next morning, rushing for my high-speed train, the car park didn't recognise my plate. I also noticed other guests got a free gift at checkout, and I didn't.
