I compared dozens of hotels online before settling on this one—mainly because the reviews looked promising, and I figured I’d just take whatever was decent. To my surprise, I was genuinely impressed the moment I arrived! The lobby’s interior design is elegant and full of character, and all the greenery is real (I actually mistook it for artificial at first—it’s that lush and beautiful!). The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. My room was spotless and felt truly safe and comfortable to stay in. Bonus: they offer robot delivery 🤖 for food deliveries—no need to go downstairs to pick anything up. Everything in the room is complimentary, including high-quality slippers. Even better, the lobby offers a thoughtful selection of free essentials—hair ties, band-aids 🩹, cotton swabs, alcohol wipes, and more. It’s these little touches that make all the difference. Highly recommend this hidden-gem hotel!

Excellent location—just a 5-minute walk to the subway station, and very close to Pingjiang Road and Guanqian Street. It’s only a 10-minute bike ride to the Humble Administrator’s Garden and Suzhou Museum. The hotel isn’t on a main road, so it’s quiet at night and offers excellent soundproofing. The room was clean and well-organized, featuring full smart-home automation, an oversized projector screen, and robot-powered room service. The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful and resolved any issues promptly. Complimentary umbrellas, masks, and bottled water were all provided. Highly recommended—I’ll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Suzhou!

This stay exceeded our expectations! The front desk staff were extremely welcoming and enthusiastic, proactively helping us with our luggage. Both check-in and check-out were swift, and complimentary luggage storage was also available. The room was clean, well-organized, bright, and spotless. The bed firmness was just right, the amenities were fully functional, and the environment was quiet and undisturbed by noise. The location is fantastic, with convenient access to nearby dining and local attractions, and there's a parking lot close by as well. Great value for money and highly recommended. I will definitely stay here again!

The hotel's location is a bit secluded; it's close to Guanqian Street, but a bit far from Pingjiang Road. The hotel staff were very helpful and polite, and any issues we had were resolved promptly. Compared to other guesthouses, the self-service bottled water station is a fantastic perk. The rooms were clean, hygienic, and well-kept.

First of all, the location is fantastic. It is very close to Guanqian Street—just a two-minute walk. The subway is also extremely convenient, with a very short ride from Suzhou Railway Station, making transportation a breeze. Secondly, the hotel has a strong cultural atmosphere centered around a "scholarly" theme; the design is elegant and full of cultural charm. Finally, the front desk and all the staff we encountered were warm, attentive, and very prompt in responding to guests' needs. The front desk provides complimentary bottled water and black tea on an unlimited basis, along with thoughtful little amenities such as hair ties, cotton swabs, iodine swabs, dental floss, face masks, and band-aids. Guests can take what they need—such a thoughtful touch. The lobby features a miniature Suzhou-style garden, which is great for taking photos. The room was clean and tidy, and despite being near the elevator, the soundproofing was quite good. I needed to print some work documents in the evening, and the receptionist at the front desk was a absolute lifesaver in getting it sorted out for me 👍 Overall, I am extremely satisfied. Highly recommended 👌

We traveled to Suzhou as a family of three and booked this hotel after seeing it on Trip.com. It is very close to Guanqian Street, making it super convenient to get to any attraction. The lobby also has a seating area. We arrived a bit early on the day of our trip, but we were not disappointed at all; the place gave us a very cozy and welcoming vibe. Although our room wasn't ready yet, they notified us the moment it became available. During check-in, the receptionist thoughtfully prepared kids' slippers and a toothbrush set for our child. We stayed for one night and it was extremely comfortable—we slept really well. The room was also bigger than expected and very clean. If our itinerary hadn't been packed, we genuinely would have wanted to stay a few more days. After checking out, we went out for a stroll and returned to wait for our high-speed train. While we were resting in the lobby, the front desk staff even poured us some water. The service was truly heartwarming! We had a wonderful time in Suzhou, a city so gentle and healing. Highly recommend Zeyiju Hotel—the attention to detail in their service is top-notch, it's spotless, and the soundproofing is great, making it exceptionally quiet and comfortable for a family stay. Surrounded by commercial districts, dining and shopping are right at your doorstep, and the metro is within walking distance, ensuring a worry-free trip. With unbeatable value for money and an amazing overall experience, we are thoroughly satisfied!

The service at this hotel is exceptional. From the moment we checked in, we felt the warmth and hospitality of the staff. Seeing that we were traveling with a child, they kindly upgraded us to a larger room for free and thoughtfully prepared a set of children's toiletries. There is a large fridge in the lobby with complimentary bottled water, and the front desk also provides small amenities like disposable razors, face masks, earplugs, cotton swabs, and band-aids—such a thoughtful touch that truly anticipates guests' needs. Upon entering the room, the first impression was how spacious and impeccably clean it was. Our child loved it! The bathroom was fully stocked with toiletries, including disposable toilet seat covers, and whenever we needed anything else, the front desk delivered it promptly. The hotel also offers laundry service; our clothes were washed and immediately dried. Doing laundry is always my biggest worry when traveling with kids, so this was a huge relief, haha! In the evening, wanting to head out for a bite to eat, we asked the front desk for recommendations and they suggested a few local Suzhou restaurants nearby. We tried them out—the flavor was a bit on the sweet side, but quite delicious and the kids loved it. The location is also very convenient with plenty of dining options around, great value for money, and easy access to nearby attractions. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful check-in experience. The front desk staff were very patient. My husband and I came to Suzhou for a little trip—there are plenty of dining and drinking options around, and it's very close to the ancient Pingjiang Road. We just strolled over in no time, and the nearby tourist attractions are also very accessible. When we were heading out in the morning, we noticed it was raining, but the hotel provided free umbrellas at the front desk, along with various daily amenities like dental floss, cotton swabs, face masks, and band-aids. Truly a great stay—we felt very comfortable and were even a bit reluctant to leave when checking out. Suzhou is lovely, with a slow pace of life that is perfect for relaxing and unwinding.

I booked this hotel at the last minute. First of all, compared to others, the price is quite affordable. Secondly, the location is very convenient—the parking lot is right next to the hotel, and it's close to both Pingjiang Road and Guanqian Street. The room facilities are also quite complete, offering great value for money. Another thing worth mentioning is that the laundry room is super thoughtful. With two washers and two dryers, there was no crowding at all, and laundry detergent is even provided. Many hotels don't offer this. I didn't hold high hopes since it was a last-minute booking, but upon arrival, any initial anxiety vanished. As soon as I walked into the lobby, the receptionist greeted me warmly and processed my check-in with incredible efficiency. Highly recommended for girlfriends traveling together to the Guanqian Street area in Suzhou!

I often stay at this hotel, but this time the room was very noisy. The upstairs was using water, making a loud splashing sound downstairs. There weren't many people in the nearby alley, but it was very noisy. I didn't sleep well last night.

Getting to the historic cultural street and Taohuawu was quite convenient, but the hotel's hygiene was really poor… There were dirty spots everywhere, and the hallways smelled bad. If you don't have specific requirements for the location, I strongly recommend choosing another hotel… I definitely won't be staying here again…

Had high expectations for this hotel, unfortunately it turned out to be very disappointing. The toilet seat was broken in both toilets, the toilet was dirty. The water pressure in the shower was weak. They were renovating a room at the end of our corridor, so it was noisy with drilling and hammering. There are better alternatives than this. Avoid this place

The Wi-Fi card is noisy around here, and customer service keeps chasing me for a good review, 666, several times a day.

The room door lock was very difficult to close (even I, a guy, had to use a lot of force to close it), the blankets were filthy (lots of black spots), the service was terrible (the receptionist acted like someone owed her a million dollars), and you couldn't cancel for free. Seriously, don't come here and fall into this trap. Especially couples, you'll be waiting for your girlfriend to... well, you know.

The bathroom in the room stank horribly. Even with the door closed, the stench wafted out, making it feel like a public toilet. It was so foul I wanted to vomit. I stayed two nights. I contacted customer service the first night, and someone came and covered the drain with plastic, but it didn't improve the situation; in fact, it got worse. Absolutely terrible! Absolutely terrible! Absolutely terrible!

1. I commend the two young ladies at the front desk. We arrived around 8 or 9 pm, and they brought us chairs and adjusted the water temperature for us. Their service was prompt, attentive, and warm. 2. The hotel's professionalism needs improvement! Our room had a skylight, and since we checked in at night, we hadn't considered the issue of blocking out the light. We were woken up by the light around 6 am. When we reported this to the front desk, the staff member was dismissive, saying, "You should have asked beforehand; we have blackout curtains!" Then they ignored me and talked to someone next to them, leaving me standing there! I expressed my anger at this response and being ignored, and they said, "Then what do you want? Maybe I'll talk to your manager about compensation!" The problem is, I don't need any compensation. I came to report this to tell you that you should inform future guests about parking arrangements and provide helpful information about special features in the room, such as the skylight. Nobody wants your compensation! In this situation, an older man nearby directed the young front desk staff to deal with the two guests who arrived later! Then the young male receptionist went to attend to the next guest, and the older gentleman left. I was ignored again! At this point, I felt I had received satisfactory service. They repeatedly apologized and offered discounts during checkout, but I didn't need those. I want to tell everyone that your work is extremely unprofessional. First, you didn't understand why I contacted you to report the problem, and you responded passively and perfunctorily. Secondly, you angered the customer first, and the subsequent apologies and other work were just extra waste of your manpower and resources. I'm not satisfied with the young male receptionist's response, but if he's a new employee, I think his skills can be improved through training, and employees should be given opportunities to improve. But that older gentleman, if you're an employee and don't seem like a receptionist, please don't get involved in any communication with customers at the front desk. You're extremely unprofessional. If you're a manager, then I can objectively say that your practices are not worth recommending!

First, the room wasn't as big as advertised, nor did it look as nice as the pictures. Second, the cleanliness was terrible; the carpet in the hallway was covered in stains. Third, the TV couldn't play live TV, and even when connected to the internet, it couldn't be projected—it was just for show. Fourth, several staff members were constantly smoking in the lobby, which was already small, and the place reeked of smoke. Finally, the room's ceiling was unreasonably high. Overall, the experience was extremely poor; it was just a typical guesthouse.

Folks, this is a bit of a rip-off. While nearly 300 yuan won't get you a super nice hotel, at least basic cleanliness should be guaranteed. The mattress and blankets were practically glued together, and the tatami mat cushions were dusty, like they hadn't been cleaned at all. And the most shocking thing was the bathroom—no overhead shower, just a small showerhead! There were also very few clothes hangers; when I asked the front desk, they were all old, deformed ones… Although the place is in the Guanqian Street area, it's quite remote; the subway station is a bit hard to find. The windows were heavily dusty, there were small bugs hanging on the curtains, and the room smelled musty… The business probably knows who I am, but please don't reveal my personal information. Revealing personal information and seeking revenge is illegal. The good reviews I saw on Ctrip were probably fake; they even sent me a red envelope upon check-out, asking me to leave a good review…
