Yuntang Luxury Resort Hotel Dali

The staff at Dali Yuntang Min Su were very friendly and went out of their way to help. They also recommended a lot of sights in Dali, which made our trip really enjoyable. Thank you — I'll definitely come back and stay here again next time I'm in Dali 😊

The hotel is right in the old town, a really convenient location. There's a tea house, bakery and pub downstairs, but it's never noisy. Breakfast is hearty and tasty — you can tell it's made with care.

This was one of the best hotels of our entire trip through Yunnan! Yuntang Luxury Resort exceeded every expectation. It sits right on Renmin Road, in the middle of the ancient town, with dozens of cafés, bars and shops nearby. But the amazing part is that the moment you step inside, the street noise disappears. The inner courtyard is completely still and peaceful — all you hear is birdsong and water in the pond. It's a genuine contrast, almost a luxury in itself. The grounds feel like a work of art: a Jiangnan-style garden, wooden details, soft lantern light in the evening — every corner makes you want to take a photo. There's a real harmony between modern comfort and traditional Bai culture. The room was spacious and spotless, the bed like a cloud. The design is beautiful, with handmade touches that add real character. The bathroom is large and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and varied. The staff were incredibly polite and attentive — they helped with our luggage, pointed us to the best nearby restaurants, and even called a taxi when we needed to leave. One tip for future guests: if you're visiting in winter or spring, check on heating for your specific room type (especially if you book a loft), though we were comfortable. Highly recommend! A perfect place to feel the spirit of Dali without giving up luxury-hotel comfort.

I had an early morning flight from Kuala Lumpur to Kunming, then a morning train from Kunming to Dali, so naturally I was completely exhausted. But the moment I arrived at this hotel on May 27, 2026, the staff's warm welcome instantly lifted my mood. They even let me check in early so I could rest, and kindly offered breakfast, which I was very grateful for after such a long journey. The hotel is right in the center of Dali Old Town — easy to find, surrounded by everything you need, and honestly just lovely! My room was amazing and so comfortable that I slept better than I had in ages. Before leaving I even gave my still-good pair of Nike Air Force sneakers to one of the staff members — hope they fit him! 😄 I highly recommend this hotel if you're planning to visit Dali.

A wonderful location right in the heart of the old town, perfect for strolling and relaxing over a drink or a meal. The place is great, clean, and the staff are very friendly. The only downside I'd note is that breakfast started at 8:30, and like many other guests we left early, so we couldn't enjoy it. Even so, I'd definitely come back.
