To be fair: the building was converted from an office tower, and several serious reviews complain about near-total lack of soundproofing (you can hear running water and neighbors talking), evening construction work, and slow elevators in a high-rise. It's worth asking about the floor and any nearby construction when booking.

My stay at this hotel in Guangzhou was simply wonderful. All the front-desk staff, both the women and the men, were incredibly helpful and polite. The room was very clean, and breakfast was tasty, fresh, and neatly presented. Afternoon tea was also very good. Any issues that came up were resolved quickly. I'll definitely come back to this hotel next time I'm in Guangzhou. Service here is truly top-notch!

Great location, right above Zhonghua Plaza, the metro station downstairs leads straight into the mall where you can walk around, eat, drink, and have fun. The hotel offers free parking, which is a rarity here given that parking in Guangzhou's Yuexiu district costs 16 yuan an hour, so the room rate isn't really that high. It's a new hotel, and the stay was very comfortable — hot water, AC, and internet all worked fine. I didn't try breakfast or afternoon tea. The receptionist was very sweet and tried to accommodate my requests, and the housekeeper very patiently explained how to use the elevator — just wonderful! The elevator has access control, and food deliveries are brought to reception by robots, which gives a real sense of security!

Lovely stay! The room was clean and tidy, housekeeping was very thorough. Front-desk staff were polite, the tea was excellent, and breakfast and afternoon tea were tasty. I'll definitely come again! The hotel is very conveniently located near Beijing Road metro station, and the lobby has a view of the Canton Tower.

My stay at this Guangzhou hotel was very pleasant. Front-desk staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and tidy, and all my requests were met. The kids loved the play areas. Breakfast and afternoon tea were tasty, with a good selection of tea. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the lobby had a beautiful view of the Canton Tower. Wonderful!

It's rare to find a hotel with such a distinctive atmosphere, unlike the usual cookie-cutter interiors. The rooms have panoramic bay windows where you can fully enjoy the city sunset in the evening. Housekeeping is so thorough there's no dust even on the decor. The front desk doesn't push extras, and check-in is quiet and calm. Minibar drinks are free, including local specialty teas. For a short stay it's an ideal, relaxing spot, well ahead of hotels in the same price range.

Great five-star hotel, but the service and amenities are just terrible! First, the elevator is horribly inconvenient — you wait forever and in the end nothing comes, a complete waste of time. The most outrageous thing is the soundproofing, so bad it feels like there are no walls at all. You can hear every move from the neighbors on both sides. Even the sound of the shower running next door comes through clearly. How is anyone supposed to sleep? On top of that, staff attitude is awful, they keep asking questions, which is annoying. I usually stay at other three-, four-, and even five-star hotels where people at least show basic respect and courtesy. But you're not even a three-star hotel, you're just wasting money for trouble, this is a garbage hotel.
