Yangshuo Moye Villa stands among the karst mountains, 200 metres from the east gate of the "Guilin Eternal Love" park, in the Ten-Mile Gallery area — the view of the Yulong River opens up right from the window. The panoramic rooftop pool frames the scenery of the Li River like a living painting: you can swim and admire the peaks by day, and watch the sunset by evening.
The wabi-sabi interior design in natural wood creates a warm atmosphere, and there is a very long balcony for taking in the mountains. Guests are offered free afternoon tea and desserts, and families with children get extra breakfasts. On some stays you can rent electric scooters free of charge.
Who it suits: couples and families who want a resort-style stay with a panoramic rooftop pool and karst mountain views, away from city bustle.
To be fair: construction work often takes place near the hotel and the neighbouring guesthouses, and the noise can start early in the morning — check the current situation before your trip. Soundproofing in some rooms is weak, and some amenities (towels, bathroom heating) are not always fully provided — check the room when you check in.

The hotel is simply incredible value for money! Seeing that we had children with us, they gave us two extra breakfasts, which, by the way, were very tasty. We stayed three nights and were given free electric scooters, which was very handy for sightseeing and walking around, saving us money on transport rental. A cosy atmosphere and friendly staff — a great choice for a break!

We spent two nights here and really didn't want to leave! The hotel is right next to Guilin Eternal Love park, and the panoramic rooftop pool has a stunning view of the karst mountains — the perfect spot for photos. The rooms are done in a wabi-sabi style, with attention to detail and very comfortable bedding. The butler service was excellent, and the free afternoon tea and the Guilin rice noodles at breakfast were simply wonderful. If you're going to Yangshuo, stay nowhere else!

Mùyě Shānshù is a hidden gem among the mountains on the bank of the Yulong River. You open the door and there are cascades of green mountains right in front of you. The panoramic rooftop pool frames the scenery of the Li River like a living painting. You can swim and admire the peaks by day, and enjoy the sunset over the mountains in the evening. The atmosphere is quite unlike anywhere else. The natural-wood interior design creates a warm, elegant feel. A very long balcony lets you take in the tranquil mountain scenery, far from city bustle, which is perfect for an unhurried stay. Conveniently close to the "Eternal Love" (Qian Gu Qing) show. The rooms are clean and the service is attentive. It suits families with children as well as couples. If you're looking for a secluded spot among the mountains and water in Yangshuo, this hotel is ideal.

We arrived at around 2pm and checked in. The room was comfortable and clean, and on the ground floor they offered free afternoon tea and desserts. The service was excellent and the setting pleasant. What I especially want to mention is that, seeing we had children with us, they gave us 3 breakfasts. The buffet had a good variety. All the hotel staff were very friendly.

The hotel exceeded all expectations! The interior design is entirely to my taste — every corner is a work of art creating a one-of-a-kind atmosphere. Breakfast was very generous and the service was simply wonderful. What's even better is the excellent location — right next to "Guilin Eternal Love" park, just a five-minute walk away. On top of that, you can rent brand-new Yadea electric scooters at the hotel. This is the best hotel I stayed at during my trip to Guilin! 👍

Overall, the price was high but the quality didn't meet expectations, and the hotel lacked the professionalism you'd expect. I don't understand where the positive reviews came from. The rooms were also mediocre; there was a construction site right opposite, and the rooms looked nothing like the photos. The soundproofing was poor — really this is just a guesthouse. Service at reception was also average. Overall, poor value for money and below-average service. Not recommended; avoid this place!

The conditions weren't great; bath towels weren't pre-packed and there were no disposable ones. There's a construction site across the road, and the noise from the work starts early in the morning! The location is also a bit out of the way; the car park is around 200 metres away and very dark! The staff inside were very friendly.

The showerheads in the hotel were dangerous; the water flow was uneven, cold on top and hot at the bottom, and some jets had very high pressure! The water temperature was very low except for those few high-pressure jets. The bathroom was terribly cold because there was no heating. I came hoping for a nice view, but it turned out to be one big round construction site with excavators right next to it. There was an "Eternal Love" concert going on nearby and it was unbelievably loud! It sounded like constantly vibrating low-frequency bass speakers in a bar. This is really just a guesthouse, and all the neighbouring buildings are connected to each other. I'm completely disappointed.

Surroundings: construction work was going on at the hotel entrance, and building work was also under way at the guesthouse next door. Noise from the neighbouring guesthouse's building site started as early as 8am. Location: very close to the "Eternal Love" scenic area, but the surroundings aren't great. Facilities: the bathroom floor was incredibly slippery — you will definitely slip and fall if you're even a little wet. Service: the service was absurd. At reception, an ID card and room key were handed to a stranger.
