Which destination to choose for a first trip

Destination Main experiences How much time you need
Seoul The DMZ, Nami Island, palaces and hanbok, Everland, Lotte World, night tours 3–5 days
Busan Gamcheon, the Sky Capsule, Haeundae beach, Gyeongju 2–3 days
Jeju Seongsan, Hallasan, the Aqua Planet aquarium, group tours around the island 2–4 days

A ticket, a tour or a private format

A ticket suits parks, viewing platforms and aquariums: you choose the day and go yourself. Day tours from Seoul are convenient if you need transport and a guide to the DMZ, Nami Island or Seoraksan. Tours to the DMZ in most cards run in English: the language is stated on each card. On Jeju tours are divided into eastern and west-south routes, so for a first trip it is enough to choose one side of the island.

How to book

Click “Choose a date” on the card: the seller’s page on Trip.com will open. You choose the day and number of guests and pay. Connect internet for the trip in advance: an eSIM for South Korea.

Frequently asked questions

Are there tours in Russian?

The selection has few offers with a Russian-speaking guide: most tours run in English. The language is stated in the card.

Can I go to the DMZ on my own?

Usually people enter the demilitarised zone as part of organised tours. See the conditions and document requirements on the page of the chosen tour.
