A ticket, a tour or a travel pass

Tickets suit parks and viewpoints. Day tours are better value for Fuji, Nikko and Nara, where the road takes a lot of time. For independent trips around cities and between them compare travel passes on the page transport in Japan.

For a first trip the combination of Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka is enough. From Tokyo it is convenient to go to Fuji and Nikko, from Osaka and Kyoto to Nara.

Are there tours in Russian?

In the Japan selections English is more often stated; individual tours are marked with a Russian-speaking guide. The language is stated on the seller's page.

Do I need a travel pass?

It depends on the route. For several cities compare the JR Pass, regional passes and express tickets from the airport.
